Battlestate’s Steam store separates Escape from Tarkov from its PVE Zone downloadable content. The PVE Zone page explicitly requires the base game on Steam. Edition names alone are therefore an incomplete guide to what you own. Open the bundle’s included-item list and check for the exact content you want, especially when comparing the base game with a larger edition or reviewing an older purchase.
Keep account and storefront details together
The Steam listing also requires a Battlestate account and supports linking it to Steam. Before following installation instructions, note the storefront, account and installed content you are using. Keep those details with any support question so the intended setup is clear. For the game itself, the developer’s description centres on preparing a raid, surviving encounters and extracting with loot; that is the context a beginner guide should address.
