How your VEIL account information is used
Account and purchase information
VEIL stores your email address, display name and a protected password hash. Your account connects orders, delivered license keys, eligible reviews and any referral promo entered at registration. Purchase and license details require sign-in. Passwords are not stored as readable text.
Cookies and browser storage
A session cookie keeps you signed in. The shopping bag, selected currency and favourites are stored in your browser so they can persist between visits. Registration uses a short-lived captcha to help limit automated account creation.
Payment and fulfillment services
Crypto payment processing is handled by Plisio. When you buy an API-delivered product, its developer’s service supplies the license for that order. The store keeps the resulting payment and fulfillment records so it can show order status and deliver the purchased key. Contact the administration for account recovery or a request concerning your data.
